The hip off-Hollywood enclave of Silver Lake fancies itself the next Melrose Place, judging by the tortured romantic shenanigans of this group of twentysomething friends. While a scheming publicist (Denise Richards) sets her sights on the rocker boyfriend (James Stevenson) of celebrity journalist Rose (Lauren German), oversexed hairdresser Charlie (Eric Balfour) changes partners like socks. Also, lonely OB-Gyn Nina (Tamara Taylor) is charmed by an online date (Lucas Bryant); she lets him move in, unaware of his ominous baggage.  |
