	concept from All-around loser and petty crook Earl (Jason Lee) wins $100,000 in a scratch-off lottery, gets hit by a car, loses the ticket, then has an epiphany after hearing Carson Daly talk about karma on TV. He decides to do good things so good things will happen to him - like finding the ticket again. 	i opine... While I like Jason Lee, I can't see this making it: it seems painful. NBC's comedy track record of late is pretty terrible. It won't be this year's "Coupling," but I continually ask why NBC decided on this instead of launching "Scrubs" in the Fall.

	the breakdown   An alright slot for launch, but watch fast, I don't think it's going to be around very long.
