concept from	Reporter Carl Kolchak (Stuart Townsend) covers a beat few would envy: things that go bump in the night and leave a bloody mess behind. As colleagues question his methods and obsessions, Kolchak faces supernatural horrors that may not be fit to print. He's also haunted by the murder of his pregnant wife, who was snatched from their car while he was unconscious.

i opine...
	It's an updated take on the supernatural '70s series, which has become somewhat of a cult classic over the years. I'm just not too sure about this new version, which will undoubtedly remind folks of "The X Files." ("X" veteran Frank Spotnitz is a producer.) The slot is tough, but pairs well "Alias." Even still and with the fact that its Touchstone-produced, I don't have high hopes.
